Goa’s Road Of Bones

This is Goa’s very own Road of Bones. Not many people know this, but the Aguada hilltop is actually a graveyard. A long time ago prisoners who died in the nearby Aguada jail were buried here. If you observe the surface of the green patch closely you will find rectangular shaped sunken spots for each unmarked grave. This is more obvious in the summer when the grass dries up.
