Make The Time

A good friend once said to me, “You don’t find the time. You need to make the time“.

Life tends to become a bunch of interconnected routines and we go around in circles doing the same things over and over again like machines. We need to make the time to break these routines so that we can do the things that we really enjoy doing.

My younger son Russell had two options this morning. Get ready on time and have the driver drop him to school. Or get ready ahead of time and go for a short ride with his father before being dropped to school. He chose to do the latter, got ready 15 minutes ahead of time and we ended up going for a short and sweet ride through the beautiful village of Paitona before I dropped him off to school.

He made the time. He didn’t find it. Time isn’t lying around somewhere waiting to be found. Go make the time.
