Ride To White Lake – Day 2
Day 2 of my ride to White Lake in Mongolia.
We left our ger camp at Khorgo Khan and rode on tarmac for about 80 kms in a light drizzle. Then we went left the highway and went off-road into the steppes. What followed for the next few hours was utter motorcycling bliss. We crossed vast and beautiful grasslands nestled between gentle hills that we climbed and descended every now and then. If I was riding alone I don’t think I would have made it to Ikh Tamir that day. I would have spent the entire day riding for a short distance and stopping to frame the KTM against a beautiful background and take a picture.
We stopped for lunch in a small town and then crossed over a mountain pass to reach our ger camp in Ikh Tamir.
