Thoughts On The Hero XPulse

Out of the four motorcycles I own the Hero Impulse is the cheapest and least powerful one. Yet the fun I’m having with this is more than the fun I’ve had with all my other motorcycles put together.

I guess the Impulse didn’t do well as a product (not as a motorcycle) because it was a little ahead of its time. But now with the growing interest in adventure motorcycling in India, Hero is coming back with the XPulse. I was a little disappointed to learn that the XPulse will be powered by their Xtreme’s 200 cc engine. But according to media reports, Hero’s CTO has hinted that the company could come up with a 300 cc XPulse in the future. I think its only a matter of time that Hero starts playing in the higher engine capacity segments.
