Tour To Lake Como

The plan was to rent a motorcycle and ride around the beautiful Lake Como. But I couldn’t find any rental in Milan which was open on a Saturday. So I booked myself on a day tour of the lake which included a boat ride from the ancient town of Como to a small hamlet called Bellagio. The lake is lined by small towns with beautiful (and very expensive) villas.

Although the boat ride was wonderful, riding a motorcycle around this magnificent lake would have been just awesome. Which gives me a reason to come back to this part of north Italy. I’m not striking Lake Como off my bucket list yet. I will ride a motorcycle around it, hopefully sooner than later. This lake and the nearby Stelvio, Gardena and Campolongo mountain passes. I have quite a bit of unfinished business here.
