Trail Riding In Valpoi

This Sunday Mashruf Shah took us deep into the jungles of Valpoi to a village so remote that we didn’t realize that we had crossed the state boundary and had entered Karnataka. The village had just seven mud houses, no electricity and no sign of commercial activity. Check out the condition of the trail in this video. The people living in this village need to walk all this way, wading through streams just to get to civilization. Going to the market or a doctor is a proper expedition. To us it seems like a very tough life. But for them, it’s just normal.
