Vee Rubber vs IRC Knobbies

Two years ago I switched from the IRC hard compound knobbies to the Vee Rubber soft compound knobbies. I can confirm that the Vee Rubber tyres are far better and offer much greater confidence on tarmac, specially when cornering. This is important for me because I don’t trailer my Impulse on tarmac. I’ve ridden 16,000+ kms so far and all on knobbies.

But as expected the Vee Rubbber tyres wear off much faster and that’s fine with me. It’s better that I wear the rubber off my tyres rather than skin myself on the road. 😬
