A Ride Along The Maui Coastline

Today I find myself on the absolutely beautiful and breathtaking island of Maui in Hawaii. Believe it or not, I am here on business and not for a holiday, although some of my friends on Twitter don’t believe me when I say that. I dedicate this blog post to them. 😉 And just in case you wanted to know, this is what I am going to wake up to every morning.

Today I took a short ride along the coast line. Here are some pictures.

Well actually, for the next few days I will not be working because there appears to be something wrong with the fan of my beloved Dell Precision M6400 mobile workstation. If I run a resource hungry application like SolidWorks, after a while the CPU heats up and run at 100% thereby bringing the system to its knees. Apparently, posting pictures of Hawaii into a web browser seems to work just fine. 😉

Dell does not have a service center in the middle of the Pacific ocean. So they are going to send the parts from the main land and have a technician come to the house to fix the problem. So I guess it’s a good thing I opted for international on-site warranty.
