DJI Wireless Motovlogging Setup Review

Here are the pros and cons of the DJI wireless motovlogging setup using Osmo Action 4 and Mic 2 Transmitter
Pros:
- Completely wireless.
- Self contained. No need for accessories like microphone adapter, media mod, special camera frame, etc.
- Camera stays waterproof. No need to remove camera door to plug in a cable or adapter.
- Camera can be placed anywhere on the motorcycle or rider
- Wireless mic can be placed anywhere on the motorcycle or rider
- Wireless mic can accept a wired lavalier microphone.
- Always works. Camera and mic automatically connect to each other when turned on and stay connected.
Cons:
- Wireless mic is not waterproof. However, it can be placed in a dry location on the rider and a wired lavalier mic can be used to record voice from inside the helmet.
- Wireless mic can’t be placed inside helmet, unless you have a motocross helmet with a snout. Wireless mic can be strapped to the helmet chin strap to record voice clearly. Will need a windshield (wind muff, dead cat, etc.) at high speeds to filter out wind noise.
Today I tried my best to act like a motovlogger and do a review of the DJI wireless motovlogging setup comprised of the DJI Osmo Action 4 camera and the DJI Mic 2 transmitter. As you can see from the video, motovlogging isn’t my cup of tea. But those of you who are into motovlogging may find this video useful.
