Mountain Madness

Up in the Himalayas, size matters. A lot. Here are a couple of interesting moments while driving in Spiti. In the first case, I was forced to drive my Vitara till the bumper scraped the rock face so that let three trucks could pass us. This wasn’t that scary since we were on the rock side of the cliff road. But in the second case, I had to drive the SUV right up to the edge of a cliff overlooking a 100 foot drop down to the Spiti river. All this in the dark of the night. But then sometimes its better not to see where you could potentially end up. 🙂
