Handlebar Mounted GoPro Set Up

One of my followers asked me to explain my handlebar mounted GoPro set up. So here goes.

There are three parts to it. A 1 inch RAM ball base mount is wedged between the right side hand lever bracket and rear view mirror stem. The GoPro sits on a 1 inch RAM ball GoPro mount. Both RAM balls are then connected using a long RAM extension arm. Ideally this simple set up should suffice. But I have found that when the handlebar shakes violently when riding off road or tearing through road rumblers, the weight of the GoPro makes the extension arm bend and lean towards the rear of the motorcycle. So I wrap a small velcro strap around the extension arm and the rear view mirror stem to arrest the arm’s movement.
