Kyrgyzstan 2023
In June 2023 I rode a Suzuki DR 650 1,200 kms around the spectacular mountains of Kyrgyzstan. The ride was organised by MotoRover, a travel company based in Pune. Five of us from Goa joined other riders from India for an exhilarating five days of riding motorcycles through stunning scenery.
Of all my rides this one is the best in terms of natural beauty and variation of landscape. The route chosen by Piyush Sonsale, the founder of MotoRover and our lead rider, was absolutely stunning. You could literally stop at any random place, point your camera in any random direction and click to get a frame worthy of a picture postcard. Kyrgyzstan is that gorgeous. It’s the most beautiful country I’ve visited.
