Thoughts On The 2018 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy

No matter how much I look at this picture, I just can’t bring myself to like the new look of the 2018 Fat Boy. Maybe I’m old school, but I think Harley-Davidson should have kept the classic Fat Boy and launched this Softail with a new name.

Over the years, Harley-Davidson has tweaked the Fat Boy a little here and there, but never messed with the overall iconic appearance. But this year, they messed with the character of the motorcycle, quite possibly to appeal to a newer generation of riders.

The other day while petting one of these new Fat Boys at the Goa dealership, I asked myself whether I would have bought this motorcycle. Sadly, the answer was no.
