BMW G310 GS Cone Set Failure

After riding just 7,500 kms I managed to destroy the cone set of the BMW G310 GS. I don’t know whether it’s poor part quality (these are SKF bearings) or I’ve abused the motorcycle beyond what it has been designed for (highly unlikely) or maybe this is just a one off bad case. Thankfully the cone set was replaced under warranty. I’m glad I opted for 2 additional years of extended warranty taking it to a total of 5 years. So I don’t have any plans on changing the way I ride this motorcycle at least till I’m done with the warranty. 🙂
