Colt’s First Off-Road Experience


Today evening I rode Colt flat out at 60 kmph on a dirt track through the fields of my village. I’m absolutely amazed by the suspension of this motorcycle. With the exception of the Fat Boy, I’ve ridden this stretch multiple times on my Enfield, Duke and Tiger. The Enfield feels the most uncomfortable, while the Duke wants to throw me off into the field. The Tiger feels smooth, but due to its heavy weight, I need to fight inertia which wants to take me in a straight line through the fields, instead of using the curved track. The Impulse is freaking awesome. The ride is as smooth as the Tiger but it feels extremely light and the bike does what I want it to do.

I’ve always ridden slow on trails. Maybe Colt is going to change that. I’m not sure I like where this is going. 🙂
