Tiger In The Grass

Today morning I took my Triumph Tiger 800 XRx over a small hillock in Colvale just to see how much trouble I could get myself into. The XRx is a road version of the Tiger 800 range of motorcycles and is supposed to have limited off-road capabilities.

As it turns out, I did find myself in a sticky situation on this trial. The grass was so thick and tall I couldn’t see where I was going. As a result I found myself on the edge of a ditch with nowhere to place my right foot. The only option was to get off the motorcycle and wheel it in first gear while hoping that there was ground to walk on the left side. Quite an adventure.
